The following is an executive summary of news of Interest to Paradigm Engineering.

I was in training last week, and I missed the newsletter, so I have a bit to catch up on. Here we go:

Provisioning Paradigm's Passion for Professional Expertise
  • You can learn more about your clients by reading their annual reports, if they are a public company. You can look up their information on a free database called EDGAR
  • Paradigm's Statelinks Database has some new additions: A list of Arizona MS4 links, and information about Wyoming's New Industrial Permit, which is behind schedule.
  • Did you know that you can read about every EPA enforcement Action when it happens? follow the instructions on this link to get an update automatically.

Paradigm's PIPES: Excellence

ex·cel·lent (Adjective)
1.possessing outstanding quality or superior merit; remarkably good.
2. extraordinary; superior.
—Synonyms 1. worthy, estimable, choice, fine, first-rate, prime, admirable.
—Antonyms 1. inferior.

What does it mean to have excellence is one of our Pipes? It means that our skills, services, our process and our structure are in a constant state of review. We need to ask these four questions regularly:
  • Did I listen carefully and understand to my client's needs and expectations?
  • Did I recommend and provide services that were effective and efficient?
  • How well did I listen to my client's measure of my performance, and of Paradigm's performance?
  • How do I adjust my skills, services, process and structure to reach a higher mark?
A quote you have heard from Johnny if you have been here for over a year or two is:

"Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings; he will not serve before obscure men." You can find this quote in detail in Proverbs 22:29

This illustrates the results of excellent work.

...And so these values do not change for us: Professionalism, Integrity, having a Pioneering Spirit, serving with Excellence, and having a Servant's Heart.
