The fires in Southern California have spread. 250,000 people are on the move in the San Diego County area, trying to avoid the flames. They have opened the Stadium where the Chargers play for refugees.

According to Our manager there, all our people are safe, though they all know people who's homes are in danger. Please continue to remember them in your prayers.

  • Builder Stocks were up across the board on Friday, at the 20th anniversary of Black Monday
  • Mortgage Rates have stabilized after earlier drops
  • According to HUD, New Residential construction continued to slow in September, with new starts dropping around 8% from August levels.
  • NVR Construction of Reston, VA continues its profitable streak.
  • Markets that were overinflated continue to lead the drop, such as California, Florida, Nevada, and Arizona, and parts of Massachusetts and New Jersey.
  • The inventory of homes available is beginning to drop in places like Texas, Illinois and Missouri. This is where the growth in new building permits will begin.

  • Southern Nevada builders have shortage of available land, and are turning to mixed-use construction to keep up the construction pace.
